School Cross Country POSTPONED till Thursday 30th May 11.00am-3.00pm (will finish earlier)

ABOUT EVENT

Deanwell School are having a cross country run on 28th May 2019. Every year we participate in a school Cross Country run as part of our Health and Physical Education curriculum.

This year we are fundraising for Kidscan to help Kiwi kids in need of all ages across New Zealand.

Your fundraising helps to provide Kiwi kids in need with food, raincoats, shoes and basic healthcare so they can get to school dry and warm, fuelled to learn and ready to reach their potential.

2019 KidsCan School Fun Run Sponsorship Form booklets have been sent out to students and spares are available from the school office.  Get online and start fundraising today.

 

Year 1-3 Cross Country Run specifics: 1.30pm-3.00pm (will finish earlier).

Order of races:

6 year old girls

6 year old boys

5 year old girls

5 year old boys

7-8 year old girls

7-8 year old boys

We would love to see as many whānau as possible to support our year 0 – 3 runners.

 

Year 4-6 Cross Country Run Specifics: – Due to the lack of permission slips to leave Deanwell School, this years school cross country for Years 4 – 6 will be HELD AT DEANWELL SCHOOL  NOT  RESTHILLS PARK.

Please Note: these are approximate times only. It depends on how long it takes to run each event.

Please Bring:

  • Please pack some extra food as we often find children get hungrier during a cross country day
  • A full drink bottle of water
  • Comfortable clothes
  • Comfortable covered shoes
  • Warm jumper 
  • Asthma inhalers if required.
